F-1 Student Seminar: Ms.
Laureen Park joined Consul Woo Seok Cho from the Embassy of the
Republic of Korea to present a seminar for the F-1 international
students at the Ever Green Academy in Annandale, VA. The
discussion included consular process at the Embassy for the Korean
nationals, as well as U.S. immigration law and policy affecting F-1
students. Ms. Park would like to thank Consul Cho and Dean
Dwayne Sammons for this opportunity to serve the Korean nationals
and other international students at the Ever Green Academy.

University of Maryland School of
Law: Ms. Pooja A. Regmi was an invited guest speaker for the
students participating in the Asper Fellowship Program at the
University of Maryland School of Law.
The Asper Program offers UM law students the
opportunity to obtain credit for supervised law-related work with
state and federal judges and with attorneys employed by government
agencies and public interest organizations. As an alumni of
the UM Law and a former participant of the Asper Program, Ms. Regmi
had an opportunity to work for the Hon. Judge Hargadon in the
Juvenile Division for Circuit Court for Baltimore City in the
Spring of 2004. Ms. Regmi shared her knowledge and experience
about her career in public interest and private practice, operating
a successful law practice, and being an immigration lawyer.
Ms. Regmi wishes to thank Ms. Teresa Schmiedeler for the
opportunity.
